I’m very pleased and excited to announce a collaboration with the newly opened Surround Art Gallery in Moscow.

They will be the exclusive representatives of my Affinity series in Russia and the Russian Federation. Surround

is an innovative concept conceived and created by Evgeni Vertkov to introduce and sell photography as fine art.

While Russia has a long and important history of great paintings and sculptures, photographs have been

under-appreciated. Mr. Vertkov has set out to change that.

The gallery itself is a work of art with no detail overlooked. The walls, floors, and lighting were all carefully

considered to present the photographs in the best way possible and to give clients a visually-impressive, even

luxurious experience.

More importantly, however, is the philosophy of Mr. Vertkov. He believes, as I do, that photographs (or any work

of art) must offer the viewer a powerful visual experience as well as a sense of emotional connection that

transcends mere words.
